1. Who we are (Data Controller)
The controller of your personal data is Paweł Fabjański, the owner of this website (fabjanski.com). Contact: fabjan@fabjanski.com.
2. What data we process and why
This website is a photography portfolio. It does not use registration, accounts, newsletters, contact forms, advertising, analytics or any tracking technologies. The only personal data processed are:
- Correspondence data — if you contact us by e-mail or phone (using the details published on the Contact page), we process the data you choose to send (e.g. your name, e-mail address, message content) solely in order to reply and handle the matter. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering enquiries and, where applicable, steps taken before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(f) and 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Server logs — the hosting infrastructure automatically records standard technical data (IP address, date and time of request, browser type) for security and correct operation of the service. Legal basis: legitimate interest of the controller (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Anonymous visit statistics — we use a self-hosted instance of the open-source Matomo analytics software, running on our own server, in cookieless mode. It records anonymous, aggregate information about visits (pages viewed, approximate country, browser type, referring website). IP addresses are masked before storage, the “Do Not Track” browser signal is respected, no cookies are set and no data is shared with any third party. This information cannot be linked to you as an individual. Legal basis: legitimate interest of the controller in measuring audience of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Cookie preference — a single functional cookie remembers that the cookie notice has been displayed to you. No tracking, analytics or marketing cookies are used. Details: see the Cookies page.
3. Recipients of data
Data may be processed on our behalf by the hosting provider (OVH) and the e-mail service provider. Data are not sold, are not shared for marketing purposes and are not transferred outside the European Economic Area.
4. How long we keep data
Correspondence is kept for the time needed to handle the matter and for the period of possible claims. Server logs are kept for the period resulting from the hosting provider’s security policy.
5. No profiling
We do not profile visitors and we do not make any automated decisions about them. This website contains no advertising and no third-party trackers; fonts, analytics and all other resources are served directly from our own servers.
6. Your rights
You have the right to: access your data, rectify it, erase it, restrict its processing, object to processing, and receive a copy of the data (data portability). To exercise these rights, contact us at fabjan@fabjanski.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in Poland: the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (PUODO, uodo.gov.pl).
7. Voluntary provision of data
Providing your data is voluntary; however, contacting us requires disclosing at least the contact details necessary for us to reply.
